This is release 1.0 for Jelly Pong! I will be the first to admit that Jelly Pong is not much like my other title Lords of Illic, but I decided it was time for a bit of a change so I worked on something lightweight and fun. Jelly Pong is something I have been meaning to work on for a long time. At the same time it is something I finished a long time ago. The original program was part of a class assignment where you had to make your own physics engine and I decided to go that extra metre and make a fun little game out of it. Over a year ago I made a very simple prototype of it when I had some time off, but that is as far as it got. Since I have needed a bit of a break from Illic I decided it would be a blast to work on it again and tick that off my list of things I meant to do. Somehow I don’t think I quite captured the charm of the original, so that is something to work on for version 1.1 - unless of course I get swallowed up by Illic again. Either way, I am glad to have a game which was fun become something more than an odd little program I have to dust off and compile to show anyone.
