Version 18.6
Hello once again.
When I started this patch my plan was to take a break from making new content for Illic and focus on some more technical issues. The next step in Illic’s grand rebirth. Right away I found out just how difficult it would be due to some early and poor architectural choices. I have learnt an incredible amount since I started, so it is only natural that I improved dramatically. It isn’t really that big of a deal - we all start as beginners and have to work our way up. That is just the way things go. I considered leaving Illic as it was and working on a card game idea I have been thinking about for a while but… Then I noticed that abilities had lost their equip-conditions! Anyone could use Aoi’s special Calamity Breath! Well if I needed to make a patch I figured I would add something worth writing about. Then after writing a blog entry about how difficult it would be to implement what I planned, it turned out to be easy. So here we are with quite a juicy patch. I have expanded Lucia’s story and added in a new conditional side story about her. I also fixed the random number exploit that I am sure no one has ever used. I hope you enjoy it.
Levels
- Added a Lucia story chapter in chapter 3
- Added in an additional battle before the Jade Fortress
- Added a Lucia story chapter in chapter 4
- Adjusted some backgrounds in chapter 3
- Added in a new side chapter maps if a certain item is obtained from the Jade Fortress
- Calamity flame is now dropped in the side chapter “Calamity Dragon”
- Added an additional level to recruit Lucia if certain conditions are met
- Added in lore entry for Lucia
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where abilities no longer had exclusive equip conditions
- Does not show an exclamation mark if chapter is not complete but there are no additional levels
- Fixed a bug where every map was lost if one unit was defeated
- Fixed a bug where units did not move before attacking when they were required to under certain conditions.
- Fixed an exploit where undoing your turn would roll a different number for variable damage attacks.
- Fixed a display issue where ability charge would appear as an incorrect value when predicting combat.
